History

This charming, victorian inspired seigneurial mill was built by Madame Marie-Charlotte Bingham, daughter of the honorable Chartier de Lobtbinière.
After being left to ruin since its closure in 1957, a major renovation of the mill was bravely undertaken in 1990 by Mr. Gilles Ringuette.
We purchased the estate in 1995 and decided to transform the mill and its surrounding 10 acres into a magical location for special events, especially for unique and romantic weddings.
With Doug's renovating skills and Caroline's experience in the service industry, we can now attest that it was the perfect recipe to bring to life Mr. Ringuette's dream to life to resurrect this magnificient  site.

It is with pride, love and respect for the history of this grand site that we continue to improve on the charm of the mill and the beautiful landscape embraced by the river.

The 'Vieux Moulin' estate is truly a magical location that stands to remind us of a romantic history.
